    Ant & Sons submits:

RadNet Inc. (RDNT), an operator of medical diagnostic imaging centers, reported first quarter results in May that were nothing to write home about – the company recorded a loss of $5.5 million, or $.15 per share, due to some one-time costs, however it did reaffirm full-year revenue guidance of between $470 million and $500 million. And there has been some notable trading action as of late, though it still remains illiquid by most standards.

  • Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Holdings Outperforming S&P 500 Handily

    (Tue, 26 Feb 2008 16:13:11 -0500)

    Hickey and Walters (Bespoke) submit:

We recently pulled the most recent 13-F of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to track its holdings and recent performance.  Due to Warren Buffett's generous donation, the Foundation is loaded with Berkshire shares.  At the end of 2007, BRK/B made up 46% of the Foundation's equity holdings.  Because of Berkshire, the Foundation is heavily overweight the Financials sector at 46.93% (vs 17.58% for the S&P 500).  It is also overweight Healthcare, Consumer Staples and Industrials.  The Foundation is underweight Telecom, Consumer Discretionary and Energy, and it has a 0% weight in Technology, Utilities and Materials.

  • RadNet May See Serious Upside Following Bullish Jefferies Call

    (Mon, 18 Jun 2007 09:30:24 -0400)

Notable Calls submits: Jefferies is out with an interesting call on RadNet (NASDAQ:RDNT), upping their target to $12 from $8 and saying that despite the recent move in RDNT, they believe the stock still has substantial upside from current levels. The new price target reflects earnings upside that the firm believes will come from acquisitions, better-than-forecasted organic growth, and Radiologix synergies.

They consider their current EBITDA estimates of $75 million in 2007 and $81 million in 2008 to be wildly conservative. These estimates do not include 1) contribution from recently announced acquisitions (Borg Imaging and Rockville Open MRI), 2) contribution...
