    Radica Games (ticker: RADA) President of Asia Operations David Howell talked about rising labor costs, the timing and size of further currency re-valuation and the likelihood of increased manufacturing costs in China. Here are some key quotes (from management's Q2 2005 conference call):


    On Labor Costs in China

    ....for us labor costs are up roughly 14%. We were actually expecting to be a little bit higher.

    TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) -- Factory Card & Party Outlet Corp., the Naperville, Ill., retailer, reported that December same-store sales rose 0.3% while total sales increased 0.4% to $28.4 million from $28.3 million. Comparable sales were hurt because New Year's Eve sales appeared in the December 2005 report, while in the latest figures New Year's Eve will be reflected in January 2007, President and Chief Executive Gary Rada said in a statement. Same-store sales reflect revenue from stores open at least a year, eliminating the effects of acquisitions and divestitures.
