NEW YORK (AP) - Shares in Quanta Services Inc., which builds and maintains energy infrastructure, plunged Wednesday after the company issued a weaker-than-expected forecast for the fourth quarter.

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Quanta Services Inc. said Wednesday that its third-quarter net profit rose 11% to $54.8 million from $49.3 million.
