Corp. said Friday it has accepted for purchase 301,080 shares, or roughly 10.3% of its outstanding common stock, at a price of $14.50 each, for a total cost of $4.37 million. The company's modified Dutch auction self-tender offer expired on Monday. SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- O.I. Corp. said Monday it plans to initiate a modified Dutch auction self-tender offer to purchase up to 300,000 of its shares at a price of $13 to $14.75 each. The College Station, Texas-based provider of chemical analysis products said it will need roughly $4.425 million to purchase the shares, assuming the price paid per share is the maximum of $14.75 each. The 300,000 shares represent roughly 10.3% of O.I.'s outstanding stock. O.I. shares rose 8.4% to $13.55 in Monday morning trade.

O.I. Corp. named J. Bruce Lancaster chief executive officer and Donald P. Segers president and chief operating officer. Lancaster will remain chief financial officer.
