10 tips for creating wealth in the stock market
10 tips for creating wealth from the stock market:
1. Do not spread your money too thin.
My friend has a little over $200,000 invested in the stock
market through 27 different Mutual funds. In my opinion, 27
Mutual funds is 27 too many collecting load fees, management
fees, commission fees, operating and advertising fees. Diversity
is important, but just as important is over-diversification.
Also, in my opinion, $200,000 should not be put into more than
12 stocks, let alone 27 different Mutual ...

Select Stocks by Combining Technical and Fundamental Screens
Short-term traders tend to concentrate on technical chart patterns, and long-term investors tend to pay much more attention to the fundamentals of the company. However, both types of market participant should use a combination of the two approaches for better timing and greater returns. The technical setup pattern can give some assurance that an upward move is likely soon. One or more good fundamental measurements can give some assurance that if the stock does start to rise to a higher ...

Fibonacci - Who Was He And How Could He Improve My Stock Trading
The word Fibonacci means a lot of things to a lot of different

Investor Psychology and Reasons For Hope in 2009
2008 saw a lot of stunning, almost apocalyptic events. People ask, "What else could possibly go wrong?" The prevailing view seems to be that the economy will get worse before it gets better. As we look out on the year ahead, it is easy to conclude that there are only storm clouds on the economic horizon. So, what are we to think when people start interpreting bad news as good?
A person I recently had coffee with remarked, "The best news I've heard lately is that the recession started a year ...

Lobster Trapping for Investment Ideas
Recently, my family and I took a trip to Maine to visit
relatives. During our stay, we toured the rocky shore lines and
took in the beautiful architecture of the old towns. One sunny
morning, three generations of Wardlaws boarded a lobster boat
and set out on a guided lobster trapping excursion. We quickly
learned lobstermen lead a life of hard work and regulations.
Over the course of many years, Maine's lobstermen and state
officials have established certain criteria to protect lobsters
and ...

Inflation affects more than your money!
My parents bought their first house on Long Island in 1955. A
two story Cape Cod, its purchase price was $17,000.00. According
to its latest valuation it is now worth north of $400,000.00.
Very little has been done to it. What has happened in the 48
years since its construction is commonly referred to as
inflation. But what does that really mean and more importantly
what else is inflated?
According to Webster's New World Dictionary®, Inflation means
"an increase in the amount of money and ...

The Seven Most Traded Currencies in FOREX.
Currencies are traded in dollar amounts called 'lots'. One lot
is equal to $1,000, which controls $100,000 in currency. This is
what is known as the "margin". You can control $100,000 worth of
currency for only 1,000 dollars. This is what is called 'High
Leverage'.
Currencies are always traded in pairs in the FOREX. The pairs
have a unique notation that expresses what currencies are being
traded. The symbol for a currency pair will always be in the

What To Look For In A Technical Analysis System
Do technical analysis methods work? Or perhaps more appropriately asked, how effective are technical analysis methods? For those that simply believe that technical analysis does not work without having learned it, tried it and validated it, I submit they are missing an opportunity. For those that don't have the time or energy to do it because of lifestyle constraints (e.g. they work long hours at a stressful job), it is perfectly understandable that they bypass do-it-yourself technical ...

The Margin Advantages of Trading FOREX.
There is one aspect that is considered as one of the best
advantages of FOREX Trading. This is related to the amount of
money you need to place a trade, this is known as "margin", and

self-taught education you're NOT going to lose as much as you
win anyway, I want you to know that despite the super-high
leverage associated with FOREX trading (200:1 is ...

happen? This can happen for many reasons such as :
Global Market News. Daily Events, out of the norm. Or a

Living on Large Cap Stocks--The Beginning

25% ($12,500). Same for next year ($15,625), and the next
($19,530). But then after three years of 25% annual gains, ...

where those bonds are right now, do you have any idea how much
they are actually worth?
It seems to be a fact of life that World War II-era Americans
